Organic Astragalus
Shown to improve laboratory markers for kidney function such as the amounts of abnormal protein found in the urine, Proteinuria. Which is a sign that the kidneys may be damaged and not functioning normally. Studies suggest that astragalus can help protect the liver and improve kidney function of those with kidney disease.
Organic Asparagus
Contains a compound called asparaptine. Asparaptine can help improve blood flow and lower blood pressure which are both important elements for healthy kidney function. Asparagus can also act as a natural diuretic, helping the body to excrete excess salt and fluid from the body along with flushing out toxins in the kidneys. Asparagus is especially good for people suffering from edema (swelling). It has also been shown to help prevent kidney stones.

Once a day. Begin with 4g, increasing to 8g over a few days to a week or 2, to make sure you are digestively tolerating the blend and to minimise side effects – we suggest you combine the blend with 200ml water or

We suggest taking the Liver Rescue Detox Blend in the morning on an empty stomach for optimal results and waiting at least 20 min before consuming anything else.

When using in conjunction with the Heavy Metal Detox Blend / Estro Clear Detox Blend / Liver Rescue Detox Blend we suggest following one of two protocols as detailed below:
1. Alternate monthly usage – first month use the Kidney Aid Detox Blend, second month use the Liver Rescue Detox Blend and so on and so on
2. Combined usage
a) Morning – Heavy Metal Detox should be taken on its own and not combined with our other products, per above usage guidelines.
b) Afternoon – Kidney Aid Detox Blend / Liver Rescue Detox Blend / Estro Clear Blend (if using any of these 3, you may combine and take together at the same time. Please wait 20 min before consuming anything else.
i. Where the above are combined we suggest taking the blends 60-30 minutes before your last meal of the day to allow for optimal absorption

We suggest speaking to your health-care provider if you are on any prescribed medications before using Kidney Aid Detox Blend.
There are minimal reported interactions with most prescribed medications however we suggest those taking diabetes medication and/or blood pressure medication or blood thinners, as well as people prescribed with thyroid medications that you work with your health-care provider to monitor levels/impacts whilst using this product. Many of our customers using this product alongside the above types of medication have found they are able to gradually decrease their dosage and even come off their medications. These results are exciting and positive, but we reiterate that you need to work together with your doctor or naturopath where introducing this product into your routine.
We have also received feedback on those using prescribed anti-depressant medication. Those using this medication who have introduced our product have seen a need to increase the prescribed dosage over time. The reason for this being that as the kidney heals it begins to function at a more optimal level, thus metabolising medication at a more efficient rate which can drive the need to increase prescribed dosage levels for some people.
We do not suggest using the Kidney Aid Detox Blend when pregnant.
We do not suggest using the Kidney Aid Detox Blend whilst breastfeeding.
Yes, it is safe for anyone over the age of 2 years*.
*For children between the ages of 2-12 we suggest commencing dosage at ¼ teaspoon a day, gradually building up to 1 teaspoon a day for tolerance purposes, not exceeding 1 teaspoon a day for children under 12.
This is a hard question to answer, as one person’s health/kidney health may be more compromised than the next person. More specifically, the individual response to the detox will be different depending on general health – for example those with Kidney challenges and just compromised general health will respond differently to those without those issues. Some faster than others. You also need to factor in diet, lifestyle, stress etc
Our Kidney Aid Detox Blend generally has only positive effects including increased energy, better sleep, clearer and brighter skin, and a better metabolism.
A small percentage of people may experience a slight skin break-out or rash in the first week of detoxing as well as headaches, mood change, mild nausea, itching and change in bowel movements. This is why we suggest starting with 1 teaspoon and gradually building up to the suggested serving size of 1 tablespoon. This will help your body to adjust to the detoxifying qualities of the ingredients.
Please remember - these side effects are all positive signs that your body is expelling the toxins you are trying to detox – experiencing any of the above means it’s working!
