The best way to introduce the Heavy Metal Detox Blend is to either:

1. Take the other detox blends (eg. kidney and/or liver) first, for 1-2 months to improve the function of your detox organs. If these organs are functioning at a more optimal level, it will be easier for your body to detox the toxic Heavy Metals with ease and with minimum side effects if you introduce the Heavy Metal Detox 1-2 months later.

2. If you choose to take the Heavy Metal Detox on the same day as one of the other detox blends, we suggest taking the other detox blend eg, Estro Clear, Liver Rescue, Kidney Aid (which can also be taken together at the same time if you choose), first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and then taking the Heavy Metal Detox later in the day. We suggest 30 min before dinner or as a dinner option using the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie recipe on our website. You want to be as close to a fasted state as possible.

However, for best absorption we suggest taking sublingually under your tongue and allowed to dissolve before swallowing any residue. Followed by a fatty meal (good fats), some yogurt, avocado or a little teaspoon of butter or coconut oil as the fats also help with absorption.

Activated Charcoal should be taken away from all supplements or detox blends. Activated Charcoal is not a discriminating detoxifier; as it absorbs toxins, it also absorbs vitamins, minerals and medications, reducing their impact. Be sure to have at least 2 hours before or after any other products you may be taking.

We suggest speaking to your health-care provider if you are on any prescribed medications before using this product.

There are minimal reported interactions with most prescribed medications however we suggest those taking diabetes medication, blood pressure medication, blood thinners, or thyroid medications that you work with your health-care provider to monitor levels/impacts whilst using this product. Many of our customers using this product alongside the above types of medication have found they are able to gradually decrease their dosage and even come off their medications. These results are exciting and positive, but we reiterate that you need to work together with your doctor or naturopath where introducing this product into your routine.

We have also received feedback on those using prescribed anti-depressant medication. Those using this medication who have introduced our product have seen a need to increase the prescribed dosage over time. The reason for this being that as the liver heals it begins to function at a more optimal level, thus metabolising medication at a more efficient rate which can drive the need to increase prescribed dosage levels for some people.

Due to the naturally high iron in some of the ingredients in this product, we would not suggest people with high iron or conditions such as Haemochromatosis take this product.

It is generally safe to take, and we have not had any reported issues. However, we always suggest you speak to your health care provider if you have concerns as they have a full knowledge of your current past medical history.

More specifically, the individual response to the detox will be different depending on general health – for example those struggling with high levels of toxic heavy metals and or liver challenges and just compromised general health will respond differently to those without those issues.
