We suggest not to combine Activated Charcoal with other products or supplements.
Activated Charcoal is not a discriminating detoxifier; as it absorbs toxins, it also absorbs vitamins, minerals and medications, reducing or eliminating their impact.

Further, we suggest taking Activated Charcoal at least 3 hours after any prescribed medications have been administered to ensure minimal interference with prescribed doses.

A common side effect is mild constipation; this should resolve itself with increased water intake. Please note you should also expect dark coloured stool whilst taking Activated Charcoal – this is completely normal.
Anyone with Gastrointestinal (GI) Blockage or slow intestinal movement should avoid taking Activated Charcoal.
